KENNESAW, Ga., - January 5, 2005 - For a limited time authorized, participating Yamaha Outboard dealers are now offering a Boat Show Bonus - up to 3 years Yamaha Extended Service (Y.E.S.) free of charge for select models of two-stroke and four-stroke outboards purchased and delivered between January 1 and April 30, 2005.
Models eligible for the extended service include new, unused and not previously registered model year 2003 - 2005 30hp-90hp and 225hp four-stroke or model year 2003 - 2005 150hp-300hp HPDI two-stroke outboards. Y.E.S. will boost the coverage period to five years from date of purchase. Eligible four stroke models will receive an additional two years Yamaha Extended Service coverage. Eligible two-strokes will receive an additional three years Yamaha Extended Service coverage.
Y.E.S. kicks in whenever the original factory limited warranty expires, thus ensuring even more peace of mind with the outboard. Also, Y.E.S. is transferable, in case the owner ever decides to sell or trade up for a new Yamaha.
Travel and Recreation Interruption Protection (T.R.I.P.) is included with the Y.E.S. program at no extra charge. With T.R.I.P., customers can receive up to $250 per covered repair to help with the cost of unexpected transportation, lodging or food.
