Keri May

Keri May always loved to fish for anything and worked for a salmon guide in Alaska for five years. When her husband, Glenn, introduced her to bass fishing, she was hooked. And over the past two decades, she has lived and breathed bass.

Keri dove headfirst into tournament fishing, first at the club level, then regional, and moving on to the national level in the Women’s Bass Tournament (WBT) and Ladies Bass Angler Association (LBAA) trails, collecting numerous 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place trophies leading to 4 Female Angler of the Year championships, and placing 3rd overall in a male-dominated open division.

Her fishing adventures aren’t over despite “retiring” from competitive fishing in 2018. She still fishes nearly every weekend — throwing frogs for largemouth is her favorite approach, but she pitches jigs and tubes the most.
