With hundreds of sports shows large and small throughout the country there is bound to be one close to you. Hunting equipment, fishing toys, tow vehicles, bass boats to belly boats, and camping equipment, your local show should have it all!

The excitement never ends at the shows, from booth to booth you get a hands-on look at the very latest in high-tech products. From testing new rods and reels to discovering the latest breakthroughs in underwater cameras, your favorite manufacturers are usually represented. Looking for a bass boat? How bout getting a free test-drive?

Sports shows offer a mini family vacation, and for any true fishing fanatic, a full day at the show might only seem like a couple of fun-filled hours!

In the past, women may have felt that attending sports shows was payback for all those shopping mall experiences their menfolk had endured over the years. Not any more! The new and successful shows have added more to attract women. Professional female anglers are now regulars on the sports show tour and have brought women bass angling into the limelight. These ladies are superb anglers and are always a threat in the tournaments they fish. You might be surprised at the fun you women can have at a good show.

For the youngsters, a day spent at the local outdoor show can be an ever-lasting memory. Most shows have youth fairs, demonstrating local wildlife and fish species and handing out plenty of free literature, coloring books and tackle provided by various manufacturers. However, for most youth, the greatest part of the show is always the thrill of catching trout from the stocked ponds.
