Glenn May: Hi, I'm Hank Parker and you're?

Hank Parker: I'm Hank Parker. Who are you? Wait a minute. We're confused on who are. But we're at ICAST. We're at Lew's Booth.

Glenn: We're at the Lew's Booth . . .

Hank: That's right.

Glenn: . . . checking out the brand new stuff coming out later on this year. What is this? Tell me about what you have here.

Hank: Okay. This is too cool for school, babe. This is Mach I, Mach I. This is for all you high school and college kids that love color, that like the flash, that like to wear the bright jerseys, the bright boats, and go out there and catch big fish. This is the awesome rod and reel combination. This reel, it's as fine a reel as you'd ever want to fish with, ten ball bearings, and they've added the graphic colors to match the rod. Mach I, the rod is awesome. IM6 graphite, the whole combination is $149.

Glenn: Hundred and forty-nine for the whole thing?

Hank: For the whole thing.

Glenn: Are you kidding me?

Hank: They're trying so hard to be so close and tight with their margins to be able to make it affordable for these high school kids to have the rod and reel combination they need to get the job done, and then put the graphic package that's so cool. But they put a rod and reel combination together that's top of the line for $150 to make it affordable to the high school kids, and then they have it in the spinning combination for $89.

Glenn: Are you serious? Eighty-nine dollars.

Hank: I'm telling you it's as good as rod and reel combination as you've ever seen in your life, the cool graphic package, but they've worked on a very tight margin to get this thing affordable for these high school kids.

Glenn: Nice, very nice.

Hank: Isn't that awesome?

Glenn: That's great. They're getting the kids out there, getting them fishing, and they don't have to spend a whole lot of money to get out there.

Hank: So much effort has been put in on the part of Lew's to get these high school kids involved, to grow our sport. They're trying to give them the very best equipment that they can possibly make at an affordable price, and then put a graphic package on it these kids are proud to use.
