Hey, folks. Glenn May here with BassResource.com and let me show you a quick way how to save the bunks on your trailer and make it a lot quicker and easier for you get the boat onto your trailer. It's real simple; when you back the trailer down the ramp, most people stop where the water is just underneath the fenders a little bit.

Don't do that. Dump the whole bunks all the way into the water and then pull the trailer back out to the setting that you want it to be at. When you do that, the bunks are nice and wet. The boat will go on really easy that way. There won't be any resistance. You won't have to use as much power when you power load it. There won't be any friction on your bunkers, so you'll save those, and you'll get on a lot faster and easier that way.

It's a quick and easy thing to do, but it'll save the bunks on your trailer and it'll make it a lot easier to get your boat onto the trailer. For more tips and tricks like this, visit BassResource.com.
