Hello, everyone, Shin Fukae here. I want to show you how to use a free rig from the bank. This is what I set up right here. I'm using the 7'2" medium-heavy and Shimano Metanium here, then also I'm using a little bitty bigger line, especially the bank fishing. I'm using the 16-pound or 15-pound fluorocarbon, which is a YGK G-Soul fluorocarbon line right here, then also I'm using Fish Arrow free rig weight right here. It's got, what they call, nice shape and you can feel when you're dragging the bar up because of that. Also, I'm using the Gamakatsu hybrid hooks right here, 4/0 hooks. And then I can use a three-eighth weight which is a...you can throw the....make a long cast from the bank.
So, the bank fishing, the most key for me is long cast because of...the boat fishing is fine because we have a trolling motor and we're moving everywhere but bank fishing, we cannot move much so, so you gotta cast long, make a long cast for the little bitty bigger weight compared to boat fishing.
So then it's got nice, smooth movement, then also when you got bottom, it's no weight action. So it's got three types of different action for the one rig. So if you wanna catch more fish from the bank, try this free rig. It really works.
